Alice was a fabulous nurse and a better person. She was missed when she left PAH. Her passing leaves me saddened.

Having spent many evenings at PAH on the evening shift I worked with Alice frequently. I'll always remember she rarely seemed "frazzled". Things always worked out and patients received the treatment they needed all because she knew what needed to be done. Her ability to remain calm in the midst of chaos was amazing.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Alice at PAH. Her ability to make one feel special was unmatched. She was a peace providing spirit, who always left you feeling better after an encounter with her. She was a great teacher and mentor but most of all she was a valued friend. She will be greatly missed. Always know the world was a better place just by having her in it! God love and bless you Alice Carlin. Prayers to her family

I met Alice at PAH as my supervisor, She was the kind of person you could go to to talk and know that the situation was going to be alright. I had a high regard and respect for as a colleague and friend, Alice you are sadly missed.

My sympathy to Tim,Delores,Bernard and Mike . We all grew up together on Elliott street and Broomall street. Alice was always a very special person, I remember her as a little peanut and very sweet. My prayers will be with her and the family.

To Alice's family, please accept my condolences on your loss. I was a classmate from West Catholic Girls, class of '70. She was a kind person then and still that same kind person when we would see each other at our reunions. It was always good to reconnect with her and we shared a lot of laughs. May she rest in peace.

I met Alice many years ago at Pennsylvania Hospital. She was an extraordinary nurse, colleague and friend. She will be sadly missed. My deepest sympathies go out to her family. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was lucky enough to have grown up with Alice. She is good friends with my sister and she only lived about 6 houses away. When everyone left the neighborhood --I got lucky again and ended up living about 6 houses away from Alice. So we never stopped being neighbors or friends. Alice would do anything for you at anytime. Just one of the nicest people I know. ALICE I Will miss you terribly.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Alice. I met her over 20 years ago at PAH. She taught me many things when I was a new nurse and through out the years. She will be missed.Prayers to her family.

Alice was probably the most genuine, most grounded, most selfless individual I have ever had the pleasure of calling a co-worker and friend. More courageous a battle in the last couple years I've never seen - but that was Alice, wasn't it? She helped so many people, including me, for so many years; but did we ever hear any demands for return? Your work is done, Alice. You left your lasting impression on every life you touched. Alice was one of the wonderful women I have ever met. She was brilliant, a fair leader, a teacher, kind and compassionate to name a few. She was so much more. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years at PAH. She taught me many things. Alice was a mentor, a true gem and I will miss her. May God bless you in your time of sadness and Alice, may you walk with the angels and rest in peace.
