ANN HOWKINS Obituary
ANN CHINN HOWKINS, 62, on February 18, 2013. Ann was a Radnor native who spent much of her life beautifying the Main Line as a Landscape Designer while living in Malvern PA. She was predeceased by her mother, Phyllis Howkins. Surviving are 2 children, Kristen and Ben (Katie) Haldeman; Ann's father, Dr. Jack and his wife Agnes; 3 siblings, Liz (Wes) Reed, John (Nancy) Howkins and Reyna Howkins; the love of her life Jay Ackerman; and many loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Radnor Meeting House, 610 Conestoga Road, Villanova PA 19085, March 9, 2013, at 2 P.M., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall St., West Chester PA, 610-696-6511. Arrangements are with

Ann and I travelled together in Europe when we were in our early 20's. She lent me her courage and sense of adventure everywhere we went. My love and prayers to her whole family. I will miss you, Ann.

My memories of Ann are of a vibrant and happy person. Back when we were both biking on Saturday mornings, she was such a strong biker, rolling along with ease while I struggled to keep up. She was so proud of her son.
