Barry was one of the most giving and personable men that i have met in my life. He always had a smile to share and was a wealth of knowledge. He would drop everything to help anyone both physically and emotionally. He is truly missed.

Uncle Barry! I think it was 1975 when we met at one of the many RANKIN FAMILY parties, probably following a Wood Football game! Today I am so sad, but smiling at the same time. Your picture makes me smile. It is the "you" I remember, although it has been many, many years since I have seen you. You always made me laugh and yes, your hugs were "true" Rankin hugs! All the Rankin's squeeze like they mean it! You will be remembered forever! I am sure you are having a great "IRISH" reunion in heaven!

I was just a kid when you and Peggy were hanging out with my older brothers and sister, but I'll always remember how you loved a good laugh and the twinkle in those Irish eyes. God Bless you. You made this place better for the too short time of a time you were here.
