CARAPUCCI


CARLO D., SR., age 81, of Broomall, passed away peace-fully on June 2, 2013, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Carlo was born in Corropoli, Italy, on November 24, 1931. He was married on September 27, 1952. After serving in the Italian Army for two years, he immigrated to the United States in 1954. He worked as a bricklayer and later started his own successful business, CC Masonry, where he later retired.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, garden-ing, and walking on the beach with his wife. A generous man, he was always willing to help anyone.
Carlo is predeceased by his parents, Elisa (nee DeAnnuntis) and Umberto Carapucci and his sister, Maria Martiniani.
Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Anita (nee Puglia). He is lovingly remembered by his children, Elisa Krajewski (Eugene), Carlo U. Carapucci and Lorena Gray (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Jennifer Manzo (Roger), Danielle, Nicholas and Bryan Carapucci, Kimberly O'Byrne (Kevin), Stephanie, Ashley and Natalie Gray, and Christina Krajewski; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Connor Manzo; also many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday evening, 7 to 9 P.M., and Sat. morning, 8 to 9:15 A.M., at D'ANJOLELL MEMORIAL HOME OF BROOMALL, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall PA 19008. Funeral Mass, 10 A.M., St. Anastasia Church. Entombment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Contributions in his memory to Vitas Hospice, 1787 Century Parkway West, Bldg 16, Suite 400, Blue Bell PA 19142 and St. Anastasia Church 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square PA 19073, would be appreciated.
