To the Braid/Schecter family,
As I spotted/immediately recognized Cathy's beautiful face a few moments ago, atop the obituary in the Jewish Exponent acknowledging her recent passing, I literally gasped aloud from shock and sadness. For many years while operating my employment consulting firm, I was fortunate to have magnificent 1-of-a-kind gift packages created personally by Cathy for my numerous corporate clients throughout the Philadelphi business community--and even gladly delivered to their offices by her on my behalf when necessary! I not only marveled at Cathy's unmatched artistic talent, but so appreciated her attention-to-detail, obvious pride and joy in her work, and her support and enthusiasm for the ongoing success of my business, as well. I clearly recall Cathy to be a very warm, kind, sensitive, generous woman. To me, she posessed an undeniable joie de vive!! I am so glad my path crossed with hers, and I will always smile when I think of her.
I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I briefly met Cathy at the Seneca Hunt Camp reunion with Steve. She had such beauty and a sparkle in her eyes that I can picture her clearly. Along with the rest of the Uhr family I send our deepest sympathy to the entire family.

I am heart broken to learn about the loss of sweet Cathy.
She and I taught together at the PASS program our first teaching positions. She was the kindest and sweetest person anyone would want to know. She was such
a devoted mother, wife, daughter and friend.

Cathy meant so much to me.
I was blessed to be her employee at the old Barrel Grocer. Cathy would go out of her way to make others happy.
When my car was totaled in an accident, Cathy would pick me up every morning so I could get to the store to work.
How grateful I am to have had Cathy within my life.
I will miss her dearly.
My condolences go to Steve, Jennifer, Ashley, and family.
I was just thinking about Cathy the other day....even after all of these years...Cathy made a deep impression upon me which I will never forget.
The best time of my life was working for Steve and Cathy at the store.
It never felt like it was work, because Cathy made it fun.

I met Cathy in 2005 when we were working on the NAEP test. I was a "newbie" and very frightened. But Cathy was there to lean on. She was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was a caring, loving, and gentle person who loved her family above all else. I will truly miss her.
