D. SCOTT, on July 13, 2013, age 72, of Bryn Mawr. Survived by Carol (nee Jones), his wife, daughters Katherine and Alexandra, sons Ian and Brendan, sister Patricia K. Brunjes and grandchildren Dirk and Selinde. Alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University Law School. Memorial Service on Sunday, July 28th at 4 P.M. at The Merion Cricket Club. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in his memory to Harriton Associa-tion, P.O. Box 1364, Bryn Mawr, PA, 19010 or The Institute Foundation, c/o Jay McKenna, 323 South Fairfield Road, Devon, PA 19333.

The vamily and community have untimely lost a very special person, and have my
condolences. As a callow 16-year-old
entering Penn I couldn't expect much respect or consideration from my classmates, much less one with a "dotted" name and extra initial!
Scott was a pleasant surprise, and we last saw each other at our 25th where we dined together. He was sure some of his forebears came to the Shenandoah Valley, but I couldn't find
any of them. But he would have qualified as a Va gentleman.

Aw, girl, I just found the e-mail from Stocky but could not find an address for you. I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. I have wonderful memories of you both strolling around the fields at Aldie - Scott always so calm and pleasant happily walking by his lovely wife (always looking so chic). I could see you were a close couple. Thinking of you, with deepest sympathy.

Mr. Kelley greatly assisted our family when our parents became unable to care for themselves. My brother and I owe Mr. Kelley much gratitude for all he did during those very difficult years. He was a fine person, compassionate, caring, honest and a special person.
