My deepest sympathy to Alice and family. I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. I will always remember him for his gentle smile and jolly stories, some that included "Wonderboy", his infamous driver. What a wonderful man. I, too, will miss him. My prayers and love are with you and your family.

Oh my, what a great guy - Don made each person feel like
the only thing that mattered - eye ball to eye ball - he connected and above all - made us laugh with his unique remarks. I'll always remember his slightly shy habit of cocking his head - a little off kilter which was engaging as well as disarming. Don will surely be remembered, most of all, as a very good man. What greater tribute!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Alice, Kelly and Kim. I was so saddened to hear about Don's passing!! What a great husband, Dad and friend to lose, my heart goes out to you all. He was such a sweetheart of a man, he always had a smile on his face and was so caring. One of my favorite memories of him is his laugh, what a contagious one! I also have many memories of being at your house with my Mom, Sunday dinners just to name one. Alice you and Don were always so gracious and always opened your door to my Mom, I will never forget it. She sure loved you both dearly. I hope she and Don are toasting each other up in heaven. Leslie

What a lovely man. He was gentle, caring and had just a tiny of peck's bad boy (enough to make him fun). He will be dearly missed

Like the immortal Will Rogers, Don Wood never knew a man (or woman), child or dog he didn't like. He lit up many of our lives and will continue to do so as he was very special. He was, indeed, my favorite brother-in-law.
