Ed and I were at Corpus Christi together. We were in the Boy Scouts and hung out a lot together. I stayed at his house in North Phila several times. After all the time and distance I remember Ed as a fun guy. Sincere condolances to his family.

Ed, drove me to the VA hospital for two eye operations at 5am. A friend and neighbor when in need is a friend indeed.

Dear Lovell Family,
Words can't express the sadness in our hearts with the sudden passing of your father. Even though I met Ed only a handful of times in the past few years through my husband, Greg, I can honestly say WOW he really was the man! so full of life and vigor and truly lived life to the very fullest and enjoyed every minute of what life had to offer! He was the most generous, caring, compassionate, kind, loving and funny etc., etc.! To know him was to love him! He will truly be missed by both myself and of course, Greg will miss him incredibly;( The two shared a very unique friendship which is so rare, it was a combo of things...a work buddy, a fatherly figure, that Greg always admired and respected him. Greg looked up in so many ways to his worth ethics and most importantly a genuine friend.. He was Gregs BEST friend;( and I know Greg will miss him so much calling him with his next big adventure in mind telling him all the details and what bargains he got! You 4 boys were truly truly blessed in having Ed to call YOUR 'Dad' what an incredible blessing in all your lives and his legacy will live on! We will miss him incredibly and are so very, very, saddened by your loss:( We will ALWAYS love your father in our hearts and will remember him in our hearts forever! Last I seen him he was driving down the road in his truck with his rudolph Antlers on n big red nose in the christmas spirit! He was the greatest! we will him him dearly, ;( ;( Love, Greg and Mary Szydlowski Phila., PA

DearEd:
I will miss you. You were a great person to meet with and do the accounting work for Green Power Systems. Not only will I miss you but all the people that you dealt with over the years will also miss you. Rest in peace.
