ERICKSON
EILEEN H. (nee Hansell), 83, of West Chester, passed away suddenly on Sat., Oct. 6, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Robert N. Erickson, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Eileen Hansell; and sister of the late George Hansell Jr.
She was a graduate of German-town High School class of '47, member of the Westtown and Chester County Hospital Auxiliary and worked for 25+ years at Dane Decor in Downingtown. Eileen loved people and gardening and was an avid Phillies fan.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a sister Barbara Carr, and her children, Robert Erickson Jr. (Bette), Judy Thayer (Ed), Joanne Fritz (Ross); and grandchildren, Neal, Drew and Jack ; and great-grandson, Dane.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M., Wed., October 10th, at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Chester County Hospital, 701 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
