ELENA RICCIONE Obituary
ELENA (nee Ferrante) "ELLIE", on February 18, 2013, of West Chester, formerly of Haver-town, PA. Ellie was a cafeteria attendant at Episcopal Academy for 20 yrs 1993-2013.
Survived by her husband of 47 yrs., Dominic, her daughters Paola (Frank) Fusaro, Ida (Sabatino) DiMichele, and Angela Riccione, her grand-children Nicholas, Eric, Jenna, Alec, and Kayla, her brother Franco (Emilia) Ferrante, her sisters Angela (Tony) Giannantonio and Bruna (Giancarlo) Ricci and her mother-in-law Ida Maria Riccione.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday Evening 7-9 P.M. and Friday Morning 9-10 A.M. at the D'ANJOLELL MEMORIAL HOME OF BROOMALL, 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. St. Simon and Jude Church. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

There are no words to describe the sadness we feel at the loss of our beautiful Aunt Elena. She loved each us with all her heart, and it showed every time we were together. We will love her and keep her in our hearts forever.

Taking a break from work, I was scrolling Facebook and saw the obituary. I had heard that Elena was sick, but I didn't expect to see this. I am so, so sorry for your loss. We haven't seen Elena for a really long time, but always remember her as being sweet. I'm sure you will all miss her very, very much, but at least you can be somewhat comforted that she's reunited with her sister-in-law, Bonnie, whom I think of often.
Please know that we pray that you all get through this difficult time.

May God bless the entire Riccione family in this time of sorrow.
"Aunt" Elena, to which we always referred to her as, always treated me and my family as "family." She was a kind, caring and thoughtful woman who was very generous. One thing we will never forget were your delicious cookies, that whenever we were at an engagement together and you made your delicious treats, you would always make me my special package.....I loved you for that, you made me feel loved. For all the years growing up and all the memories our families have shared, I am truly grateful. She always made such a fuss over our boys. I am very comforted knowing that you are up there with another great woman, Aunt Bonnie. I can't express how sorry I am that you are now gone, but never forgotten. To the family, take comfort in knowing that you now have a special guardian angel watching over you all. We love you all.
