FRANCES BALZ Obituary
FRANCES A., on April 18, 2013, of Springfield, PA. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Rita (nee Baran) Balz. Fran was a graduate of Springfield High School in 1969 and Temple University in 1973. She worked at the law firm of Pepper Hamilton in Philadelphia for 40 years as a legal secretary. Fran will be greatly missed by her family and many friends for her boundless generosity and optimistic spirit. She is the beloved sister of John A. Balz. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10:30 A.M., Church of St. Margaret, 210 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. 19072 and to her Visitation Tuesday after 9A.M. in the church. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her favorite charity, Covenant House, Times Square Station, P.O. Box 731, New York, NY. 10108-0900

Root . . . We are so very sad for your loss. Kathy and Dennis have kept us updated with all that you were going through. Know that Fran is no longer suffering and in a better place. 'Til we meet again, my friend! Thanks for all you did for me during my bout with cancer. You were my inspiration and pillar of strength. I would have never gotten through as graciously as I did without your lead. I will never ever forget you!! To John, whom I have never met, but heard so much about thru Fran, thanks for being the best brother ever to our friend. She was so blessed to have you every step of the way! Please know that we are here for you no matter what!

I was so sorry to learn of Fran's passing. We were reacquainted in recent years when the Holy Cross girls of our childhood gathered for lunch a few times. It was lovely to see her again and everyone exchange childhood stories and catch up.
She was a great girl and will be miss my many.
I send her brother my sympathy on this great loss.

My dear friend Fran, a person who will never be forgotten. I have never met anyone who was so giving, thoughtful, kind, loving and always there for you. You will be thought of daily and spoken of for years to come. My friend, until we meet again. John, I am so sorry for your loss. We at Pepper have lost a great friend, loyal and wonderful woman.
