HELEN GANNON Obituary
HELEN S., (nee Miazga), on May 8, 2013, of Roxborough. Helen was a retired Registered Nurse from the School District of Phila. and was a very active member of IHM Parish. Wife of the late Francis Gannon, Sr. Devoted Mother of Francis, Robert, Thomas, AnnMarie (the late Tom) Keane and Bernadette Gannon. Cherished Grandmother to Kristen, Katelyn, Natalie and Shannon. Sister of Pauline, Mary, Stephanie and Peter. Survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing in Church Monday after 9:00 am to 10:45 am followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Rd. (off Ridge Ave.), Phila. 19128. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. Mass Cards preferred by the family.

On behalf of the School Nurses of the School District of Philadelphia, I would like to express our sorrow at your loss. Helen was a lovely and warm mentor to many of us, including myself, with a twinkle in her eye and with a ready and helping hand. Those of us who worked with her remember her fondly and wish you comfort in your memories.
