JOAN R. (nee Boyle), in her 79th year, of Havertown, Pa, died March 1, 2013. She grew up in West Philadelphia, where she married her husband of almost 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She recently worked as a volunteer at the Narberth Food Bank. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Francis, Jr., son, Richard J. Francis; daughter, Rebecca M. Heard (Robert), grandchildren; Shawn, Joe and Tony. Relatives and friends may call 7 - 9 P.M. Tuesday in THE FUNERAL HOME OF JOHN STRETCH, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown and 9:30 - 10:15 A.M. Wednesday in Annunciation BVM Church, Brookline Blvd, Havertown, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Narberth Food Bank, c/o United Methodist Church, 206 Price Ave, Narberth, Pa. 19072 and/or to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E.
