Carol, I am so sorry to hear about Jack. We were in Maine for all of July so I only heard when I was reading the Holy Child Cachet. Please express my condolences to the family. I have many happy memories of working with Jack and his great smile when I ran into him about town. Peggy McReynolds

I am saddened by the loss of this very special man,who was always such an inspiration on the way one should live life! Although I haven't seen him for some time...he will always have a cherished place in my heart! My deepest condolences to the family for their loss. Mr. Boyd- I will miss that AMAZING smile!!!!

Jack was a true blessing to this world. He made me smile anytime I spoke to him, whether it was through email, the phone or in person at the office. I will miss him more then I can say. They don't make them like Jack anymore. And I am a better person and truly blessed for having known him. What I will miss the most is how he would call me "Pretty Patti". May God bless you and your family, my prayers are with you all and thank you for including us in the celebration of Jack's life yesterday.

Carol, I met John 47 years ago at the Pa. Library Convention. The last time I saw you is when you and the Helmers came over to the Island in Maine. Nancy and I always had a great time with you both and we are so very sorry to hear of John's passing.

My sympathy to the Boyd family. I'll never forget the December day in 1973 at 3 Rivers Stadium with Jack, my Dad and my 2 brothers (George & John) for the Immaculate Reception. When Franco scored the winning touchdown Jack & I were jumping up & down hugging each other. It was shortly after that he moved to Philly and became an Eagles fan. God bless you Carol, my Mom & I said a prayer for you at Sacred Heart Church yesterday.
