CIPOLLONE


LENA, 88, died peacefully on December 7, 2012. Lena will always be remembered as a loving and generous wife, mother and friend. She most enjoyed family gatherings, visits with friends and cooking. She golfed for many years at Llanerch Country Club in Havertown, Pa., and Rotonda Country Club in Rotonda, Florida. She loved to dance, bake, talk and laugh. The youngest child of the late Basilio and Loretta Bianco of Ardmore, Pa. Lena graduated from lower Merion High School in 1942 and worked at MGM Studios in Philadelphia until her marriage to John Cipollone in 1948. In 1953, they founded John Cipollone, Inc. Lena retired as the company's secretary. .Lena is survived by her husband, John and their five children, John Cipollone, Jr. of Broomall, Pa., Michael Cipollone (Gabriele) of Ardmore, Pa. Adele Audet (Bernard) of Centreville, Delaware, Lisa Detwiler (Donald) of Thornton, Pa. and Valerie Cipollone (Mickey) of Berkeley, Ca. She is also survived by her brother Arcolino Bianco and his wife, Mildred of Havertown, Pa, and her sister-in-law Erma Bianco of Audubon, Pa. Her brother Marco Bianco passed away in 1998. She had eleven grand-children, Vincent, Christopher, Peter, Matthias, Sebastian, B.J., Jacqueline, Madeleine, Sarah, Jonathan and Rudy. She had four great-grandchildren, Matteo, Patricia, Alison and Christopher.
Lena's family will receive friend on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at STRETCH FUNERAL HOME, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Denis Church, 2401 Saint Denis Lane, Havertown, Pa. on Tuesday, December 11 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 616 Coopertown Rd, Haverford, Pa. 19041.
