LENA PAOLANTONIO Obituary
LENA T. (nee Donatoni), 89, of Wayne, PA on April 23, 2013. Loving wife of 63 years to Joseph H. Paolantonio; devoted mother of David (Marguerite) Paolantonio, Celia Paolantonio, Stephen (Jacqueline) Paolantonio and Joseph (Susan) Paolantonio; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters: Evelyn (the late James) Rafferty and Elizabeth (Joseph) Santoleri as well as many nieces and nephews. Lee became the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish organist at age 14, a position she held for 38 years. In 1984, Lee became the parish receptionist and the longest-serving parish staff member, serving under 9 pastors. Lee was described as the "soul" of the parish. Visitation on Sat. April 27 9:30-10:45AM followed by an 11AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd., Strafford PA. Interment Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lena's memory may be made to: Assumption Academy: 135 Fairfield Ln, Strafford, PA 19087. Arrangements are with ALLEVA FUNERAL HOME, INC., Paoli, PA.

I was sorry to learn of Lena's passing. I got to know Lena from being an OLA church member. She always had a warm and caring smile and would try to help anyone in any way she could. Thank you, Lena, for showing us God's love. May you continue to smile down on all of us from Heaven.
