MAURICE HENNESSY Obituary
MAURICE L. "MOE", June 16, 2013 of Rosemont and Garrett Hill, PA. Loving brother of James J. Hennessy (Anne), Agnes Mullin and Betty Wiley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Moe was a former Chief of Police of Radnor Township. Funeral Mass Thurs. June 20, 10 A.M. St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, Lancaster Ave., Rosemont, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Chapel after 8:30 A.M. Int. St. Denis Cem. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Augustinian Guild, P.O. Box 340, Villanova, PA 19085.

Uncle Moe was one of the best. I can still remember when I was little and every Christmas he would buy all the nieces and nephews Chrismas presents. His elves would distribute every Chrismas Eve with Uncle Moe waiting in the car.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Chief Maurice L. Hennessy for his dedication and service to the township citizens. The passing of Moe will be broadcast to our 3.423 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of the department who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

So sad to hear of the Chief's passing. He will always be remembered as a special person. Whenever you would see him he always had a smile and asked about how you or your family were doing. You will be missed Chief Hennessy.
