MICHAEL P., age 42, suddenly on July 24, 2013, of Mt. Airy. Son of Suzanne and the late Richard. Brother of Steven A. and Peter A. Relatives and friends may call at JACOB F. RUTH'S, 8413 Germantown Ave., Sunday, July 28th, 6-8 P.M. Memorial service Monday, July 29th, 10 A.M., at the funeral home. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Phila., PA 19103.

Mike could light up a room like no other. When he was present or nearby, I just knew it by that big warm smile, welcoming hug and wow, what an amazing listener....I am honored to have spent 4 years of high school with him & knowing him through the years. Heaven received a gem & Mike, you will be so missed....thank you for everything you've done for me! To Aunt Sue, Steve and Peter- It was very sad to learn of Michael's death. We know we didn't get to see him often, but I do remember when he came to our mom's funeral 4 years ago. It touched us all, especially dad. Prayers to everyone while you hold those special memories close to your heart. I showed up to play at SBA and didn't know a single person. Mike came right up to me and made we feel welcome. He was my first friend there, and even after I stopped playing at SBA he made sure to keep in touch. He was one of the most genuine and generous people I have known and I will never forget him. My condolences to the Hagan family, and the SBA family. Heaven received one of the best on their team. Play ball, Mike.
