McNAMARA
MICHAEL, September 18, 2012, 67, of Springfield PA, after a courageous battle with cancer and complications with chemo-therapy. Beloved husband of Kay Ann (nee Williams); beloved father of Amy Windebank; brother of Frank V. (Regina) McNamara Jr., and the late Gerald V. McNamara; son of the late Stella (nee Pelduans) and Frank McNamara; brother-in-law of Susan; also survived by nephews and nieces.
Graduated W. Catholic H.S. (1962), attended Villanova, retired IBM after 37 years, enjoyed working at QVC since 2007. Mike loved adopted pets, Angel, Links, Sonny, Dora and the late Pepe, Patrick, Willie and Jack. Mike was a loyal friend whose lilting voice and funny comebacks brightened the lives of all who knew him. Mike was a loyal friend who enjoyed golf and gardening. He was always ready with a witty quip and a warm chuckle.
Funeral was held on Saturday, Sept. 22nd, O'LEARY FUNERAL HOME, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, at Church of St. Kevin, 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield PA. Int. Holy Cross Cem. Contributions to West Catholic Alumni Assn., 4501 Chestnut St, Phila. PA 19139.
