PHYLLIS McWILLIAMS Obituary
PHYLLIS A. (nee Archibald), of Havertown, on August 18, 2013. Wife of the late James C. McWilliams. Survived by her children; Jean (Ondrea), James (Debbie), Stephen (Cathy), 7 grandchildren and her sisters; Christine, Jean, Mary and Nancy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8 P.M. Thursday in St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Ln., Havertown, where family and friends may call after 6:30 P.M. You may also call 9:30 to 10:15 A.M. Friday in THE FUNERAL HOME OF JOHN STRETCH, 236 East Eagle Rd., Havertown PA 19083 Interment will follow at 11 A.M. in Calvary Cem. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to SREHUP (Student Run Emergency Housing Unit of Phila.), 203 Catherine St, Phila, Pa. 19147.

I met Phyllis and her friend Evelyn on a trip to the Pine Grove Dude Ranch a few years ago. My friend Barbara and I became good friends with Phyllis. We have wonderful memories of times we spent together since that trip. My sympathy to all of the family. You were very lucky to have her as your sister, Aunt, Mom and Grandmom. Remember her always with good thoughts.

Please know that Eileen & I give our prayers and send our condolences to you. Both your Mom & your Dad were very good neighbors for many years. They were part of our lives and were very kind & generous to our nine children. We surely miss them

Jim, Jean, and Stephen,..... I will miss your mom sooooo much. I loved listening to her stories of you and her grandchildren, and the rest of your family? She was so proud of all of you. I can remember the beautiful outfits she sewed. We had a lot of laughs together and she was a great support to me. She truly was my "surrogate mom" . The world lost a great character! Love to you! She will be missed!
