RAYMOND B., on January 21, 2013, age 89, of Bryn Mawr. Mr. Osborne was born in Nottingham, England, and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in pharmacy. He spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry, working primarily for Wyeth, which was then a pharmaceutical subsidiary of American Home Products Corporation. Mr. Osborne spent time in Sri Lanka, Burma and India before transferring in 1959 to Wyeth's international headquarters in Radnor PA. Mr. Osborne held several positions of increasing responsi-bility and became Chairman of Wyeth International in 1986. He was an avid yachtsman and a member of the Royal Bombay and Gibson Island Yacht clubs.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Fox Osborne; his daughter, Doris Strawbridge; his sons, John McReynolds and Richard Osborne as well as 6 grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 1 P.M., to be held at Beaumont Retirement Community, 601 N. Ithan Ave in Bryn Mawr.
