RICHARD, 85, of Wynnewood, PA, died in his home on December 6, 2013. He was the husband of the late Antonetta (DiSpirito) Bagley. Born in Woonsocket, RI, the son of the late Margaret (Vaughan) Bagley, he was raised in Blackstone, MA having received a great deal of attention and support from his Uncle Edward Bagley. He was educated at Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, the University of Alabama, and Clark University.
Mr. Bagley served in the US Army during WW2 and the Korean War. He lived in Woonsocket, RI for many years, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's parish during that time. After his wife's death, he moved to Pennsylvania in 2005 to be closer to his family. He was a communicant of St. Matthias Parish in Bala Cynwyd.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Linda J. Bagley and her husband, Dr. Eli Dweck of Bala Cynwyd. He also leaves his only grandson, Michael Dweck, a brother, Frank Bagley in The Villages, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10 A.M. in St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, following visitation at the Church at 9 A.M. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contri-butions may be made to Mount St. Charles Academy, 800 Logee St. Woonsocket, RI 02895 or to Temple Adath Israel, 250 North Highland Ave., Merion Station, PA 19066. Arrangements are under the direction of THE HOLT FUNERAL HOME, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI with the assistance of THE McCONAGHY FUNERAL HOME , 328 West Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
