We were deeply saddened to hear of Bill's death. I have been fortunate to include Bill as a business associate and friend for a number of years. Bill's knowledge, acumen, insight and humor always provided interesting substance for debate and conversation. Known as a key industry insider Bill could always be depended upon to conceptualize difficult concepts and offer constructive opinions. I will miss our conversations on the state of the industry, family and fishing. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dear Deidre, Julie and Kyle, Angela and Joe, Christine and Bobby,

We have only know eachother for a short time but I feel as if we have shared special stories over the past two years. Please accept my sincere sympathies on the passing of your husband and father. He was such a strong man and put up a really good fight. May he now be at peace and have eternal life with our Lord. May all of you reflect on all the special memories you have shared with him and carry on all he has taught you. I know how much you will miss him but he will be with you always, guiding you.

Sincerely,
Barbara Kopecki and Family

Dad I will miss you every day.

My dad taught us always to do our best. He was a wonderful family man and one of the smartest people I ever met. As one of his friends said, "a man always on the go with a thirst for knowledge." Even when he was relaxing, he was always thinking and being productive. He was a well respected authority in the automotive field. The outpouring of remembrances from his friends and family has been such a comfort to us. To me, he was inspiration and one of my best friends.

Thank you to all those who supported my mom, sisters and I for the visits, food, flowers, alcohol, tissues, photos, stories, phone calls, emails, and donations (cancer.org in his name), as well as the Canadians traveling from far and wide. Thank you to Rev. Michael D. Fisher and Jaye Pierce for sharing your talents, as well as all that participated in the services. You are gifted. Thank you everyone for the kindness that you have shown my family. I feel blessed just to know you.

I have fond memories of Bill from our high school years at CCH and the band, and am saddened by his early passing. He has left a wonderful legacy, however, in his children and grandchildren. I will keep you and your family in my prayers Deirdre.

It is with great sadness that I learn of Bill's passing. As the one who hired him as lecturer in Continuing Education at Fanshawe College in London Ontario many years ago, I can attest to his professionalism and the high regard with which he was viewed by administration and adult students alike!
