ANTHONY R., on Nov. 20, 2013,
age 91. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Ciosek). Loving father of Lorraine Burns (Bernard), Joanne Dragun (Edward) and Marie Dolan (Thomas). Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
During World War II Anthony served in Army Intelligence and in General Patton's 3rd Army where he received the bronze star medal, three bronze campaign medals and the Presidential Unit Citation with an oak leaf cluster. Anthony was also appointed as trustee for the US Bankruptcy Court by the Justice Department.
Anthony also served as a teacher at Lincoln Technical Institute Automotive School and served as President of the Delaware Valley Automotive Employees Union and was self-employed in the Automotive Industry for 35 years.
He also served as national and state trustee for the Order Sons of Italy in America.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, 9 to 10 A.M., Maternity B.V.M. Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family would prefer donations to Lincoln Technical Institute Scholarship Fund in Anthony's name at 9191 Torresdale Ave., Phila. PA 19136
