CATHERINE M. (nee Langdon), 94 years of Hainesport, NJ, formerly lifelong resident of Maple Shade, NJ passed peacefully, on January 18, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael and survived by her loving son, Michael J. and his wife, Marie, of Hainesport with whom she resided. She is also survived by her devoted nieces, Agnes Sheppard, her husband Bill and daughter Kate and Sister Kathleen Hart, S.S.J. as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and their families. In addition she is survived by sister-in-laws Ellen Grier and her husband Richard and Mary Zebrowski and her husband John and brother-in-law, Walter Kolynych. Catherine was employed by the Township of Maple Shade as a clerk in the Tax Office for over 50 years until her retirement in 2010. She was known to have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of her town, its residents, and their location on the Maple Shade tax map.
She was predeceased by her parents, Catherine Taggart Langdon and John Langdon as well as her sisters, Ethel Kohlenberg and Agnes Hart as well as her brothers, Harry Twyman, Edmund Twyman, and Jack Langdon.
A Viewing will be held on Monday January 21st from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. at the MOUNT LAUREL HOME FOR FUNERALS, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. The Funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11 A.M. at Saint John Neumann RC Church, 560 Walton Ave., Mount Laurel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or St. Joseph's Villa, 110 W. Wissahockon Ave, Flour-town, PA 19031.
