Charles Campbell

Charlie and I were best friends our Senior year at VHS. Due to circumstances, we drifted apart by the end of the year and lost contact forever. I have a nice picture of him and me made that Christmas that I will send to anybody who is interested. Charlie was a good guy. It appears he had the career he was seeking and it is tragic his life was cut so short. He deserved much much more.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Chuck and I were close friends growing up and I practically lived at his house. I have many fond memories of our youth and am sorry to say that that I lost touch with him later in life. My deepest condolences.

I was sad to hear of your loss. My maiden name is Shramek and I went to school with Charles and Joyce graduating in 1965 at Victoria High. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My name is James F. Orsak and I currently live in Corpus Christi, Texas. If this gentleman is originally from Victoria, Texas and attended Victoria College in the late 60's, I do remember him very well. He was a mutual friend with Robert Bailey and I in Victoria. Charles was a quiet and interesting person who I loved to visit with and "hang" with during our early college days. My deepest condolences to his family and it appears Charles fullfilled his dream of continuing his education and status in the community.

I had the pleasure of working with Chuck when he was an on-loan executive to EPCglobal/GS1. The great store of knowledge and the wonderful presence Chuck brought to his work with us helped to bring together a community that otherwise would not have coalesced. I will miss his sense of humor and indominable spirit. Godspeed, Chuck.
