DANIEL GLAMMER Obituary
DANIEL H. III, suddenly January 11, 2010 of Jenkintown. Beloved son of Grace and the late Daniel H. Jr. Devoted and loving father of Victoria and Alexandra. Brother of Nancy Gagnon and Steven. Special friend of Colleen Berry. Uncle of Nicole, Elena and Annah. Dan was an avid Temple Owls Football fan. Relatives and friends are invited to the Viewing on Friday eve. 7 to 9 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of Service at 10:00 A.M. at the JOSEPH J. McGOLDRICK FUNERAL HOME, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Breathing Room Foundation, 120 S. York Rd., Suite 7, Hatboro, PA. 19040.

Dan & Family,
Although I never official met him, I feel as though I have lost another friend. He was one of the few voices of positivity for the our Temple Owls Sports. Judging from his thoughful posts about the Owls, I know that he was so much more than just a strong Owls supporter. May God Bless him and his family and may he Rest in Peace. He will be truly missed.

Daniel, you touched so many lives in your short time in this life. My husband's and my own were two. I pray you will be rewarded in the next life for all the good you did in this one. I will always reemember your bright smile whenever you entered a room.

Daniel and I worked together for two years and it wwas a pleasure. His sense of humor kept me laughing all of the time. I hope his family and wonderful girlfriend, who gave him more pleasure than she will ever know, can find it possible to carry on because that is the way Dan would have wanted it.

Dan and I worked together for the last two years. In that time we became the very best of friends. His humor made my entire day, and I hope he felt the same about mine. I will always have an empty feeling in life without him. Please accept my condolences on Dan's passing. I knew him through the local comedy community and I saw him aas recently as this past summer. He made me laugh which is how I'll remember him. I am sure he is "breaking a leg" in a comedy club in heaven.

Dan had the passion. He gave it his all. He cared. He was a friend. Always fun to have a conversation with.
Outside of his personal relationships, also, in addition to his interest in comedy and running some comedy shows along the way, loved TU football, was a season ticket holder, was very much a part and into the game day spirit, stayed very much on top of it, and communicated about it.
Dan1831, the spirit of your enthusiasm and commitment will live on. Thanks for the opportunity we had to know you as a friend and as a significant part of our TU Athletics and University support base. You were definite TU family.
My condolences to all who were close to you, and who will always appreciate all you gave, and all you were, along the way.
Rest in peace, Dan, though if I know you, you'll be watching a lot of Temple games from up above.

I saw Dan at the bowl game in D.C. and talked to him briefly. I walked away thinking that was the happiest I'd ever seen him. He turned around at one time during the game and yelled, "keep yelling, Preps" . I'll always remember that. Heck, until 6 minutes, 29 seconds left in that game, it was the happiest I've ever seen myself. He deserved many more similar happy moments. Forty-six is way too young.

I first met Dan two decades ago as a fellow Temple football fan and his passion for Temple football is legendary. I last spent time with Dan at Temple's bowl game on Dec. 29th. I will miss Dan greatly, but he will always be part of my fondest memories.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Dan Glammer. He always was one of my biggest cheerleaders as a comedian, and his heart and soul went into every show that he produced. I will never forget how a blizzard struck while we were doing a show, and he called me to make sure I got home ok. Dan, you will be missed by your comedy family. Gone but not forgotten, we know that you are setting up a show in heaven.

There is something profoundly sad about losing a childhood friend. Dan was a part of my life when friendship meant everything, and these friendships just naturally sustain themselves for the rest of your life. He had a kind soul and was so easy to like. What's weird is that I relieved him from work on Sunday afternoon and we said "I'll see you on Wednesday", but when I got the call I realized that it will be in Heaven on Wednesday that I'll see you my friend.
