Sending condolences and prayers for the Leigh family. I met Ed as his Insurance Agent. We were introduced by my son and was soccer couch to my two Grandaughters.
I was saddened when his son in law, John Pawlowski passed, as that was my maiden name. We will all miss Ed. He was a pleasure to know.

I had the extreme pleasure of getting to know Eddie through soccer over the past 10 years. The only thing I enjoyed more than seeing him in his coaching roll (mostly while I was reffing his teams), was chatting with him about family & life in general. I always looked forward to seeing him again the next time and enjoying more time with him at the field each time we parted. I whole-heartily salute the way Eddie taught all his players about life, even far above & beyond the beautiful game itself. I will miss seeing his awesome smile & feeling his warm attitude.

Eddie Leigh was a soccer legend and great man. I vividly remember the winter evenings at La Salle University when Eddie would come to train with us at Haymann Hall. Eddie had a passion for soccer, life, and his family. I always enjoyed seeing, talking and playing soccer with Eddie. God Bless your family and please know he left a mark on so many in the soccer community.

My deepest sympathy to the Leigh family. Ed was a great guy. He's been a great friend to my brothers since they were young. I remember when he worked at the pool at Lighthouse and how he looked out for us. I also remember babysitting Megan and then reconnecting with her when she worked at Police and Fire Medical (what a small world). He will be missed by many!

WHEN YOU WALK
THROUGH THE STORM
HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH
AND DO'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK
AT THE END OF THE STORM
THERE'S A GOLDEN SKY
AND THE SWEET SILVER SONG OF THE LARK
WALK ON THROUGH THE WIND
WALK ON THROUGH THE RAIN
THOUGH YOUR DREAMS
BE TOSSED AND BLOWN
WALK ON, WALK ON
WITH HOPE IN YOUR HEART
AND YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE.

For me Eddie was the person who was able to return my daughter's love of soccer when a coach tried to destroy it. I will always be grateful. Eddie is now at peace for that I am grateful. I will remember him and all his many accomplishments and his ability to bring out the best in all he cane in contact with. Rest In Peace Eddie. You will be sorely missed.
