Judy, I was saddened to see the news about Joe. I have not seen you all for years but you were in my thoughts often. I know he will be missed by many - he was such a terrific guy. My love to you always. Shirley Remaley (Callowhill) Elizabeth City NC

Mrs. Breslin and family
I went to grade school(St Callistus) and college with Joe. His West Catholic attendance, at his dad's insistance, made us sad (Tommy More guys). We went to college together but never saw him since that time. My best recollection of him was his snazzy cars.
Was John O'Grady at the funeral? I know that John had always tried to get Joe to come to reunions without success.

God rest him. We haven't seen each other since graduation from West Catholic in 1951, but Joe was on the Crew with me and spent many long hours behind the oars with Coach Bear Curran shouting through his megaphone into our tired ears!. It's a kind of brotherhood, so please acept my condolences.

I was so sorry to hear about Joe. He was such an incredibly upbeat, jovial guy and so much fun to be around. Though he' gone, his impact on those of us who knew him will last forever.

I am sad to hear about Joe's passing. I always enjoyed visiting my cousin Judy and her husband Joe, because he always made everyone feel so confortable and welcome in his home, a very loving place to be. I loved him because he made my cousin Judy so happy and was such a loving husband and father and also so loving to my darling Aunt Helen. What a great guy..loved by everyone who knew him.

Judy and Family:
Much sadness in hearing of the passing of Joe. For many of us, he (and you) were our guiding hands as we transitioned from college students to working adults. Know in your heart that he will be welcomed with open arms as he enters the next phase of his journey. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Mrs. Breslin and Family:
Sue Sammons told me about Joe's death. I used to get together with Joe when he came to visit Carl Von Sternberg at the Allen Corp. I worked for Allen and since I was born and raised in Philly Carl would insist we talked together so he could hear our accents. Joe was great and fun guy to be with. My sincerest condolences from someone who was touched by Joe ... at a distance and a long time ago.
