Mary Lou was a crafty matchmaker for Jennifer and myself back in 1980. We were both recent hires to The Pennsylvania Horticulture Society, where introductions were made at the modest PHS library on Walnut Street. Shortly thereafter she hosted us (along with a couple of dachhunds) for a garden tour and hike at her home on Barren Hill Road. Mary Lou's intuition for hybridizing possibilites produced a marraige, two chidren, and two grandchildren. Peace and Love to her family. Hal Rosner
