As my brother Ron mentioned, Pop was a GREAT man. His message of the importance of family will be his everlasting mantra. As an adult child, I finally understood and appreciated his mantra which strengthened our relationship as father and son. He will be forever missed and always with me.
Remember your blessings and always be thankful for them...

To all of our family and friends,
We lost a great man, my father was my best friend, first teacher, coach and mentor. I will forever remember his teachings and the love that he showed to my mother, brother and myself. My Pop would have done anything for anyone if you asked him for help. I know that he is in a better place and time.
Love always,
Ron

To all of our family and friends,
We lost a great man, my father was my best friend, first teacher, coach and mentor. I will forever remember his teachings and the love that he showed to my mother, brother and myself. My Pop would have done anything for anyone if you asked him for help. I know that he is in a better place and time. To one of Philadelphia's finest, and to quote one of his famous saying:
"Use the time wisely that has been given to you, for you are not promised tomorrow. Be thankful for your family and friends, give thanks for all that you have in your lives".
We love you Pops.
Love always,
Ron

The passing of Stribs will be broadcast to our 2420 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to your family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. God Bless . . .
