SANDRA ANN
Age 71, of Wayne, PA passed away on March 14, 2018, while vacationing in her favorite city,
Paris, France. She was born on Feb. 28, 1947 to the late Joseph Besaha and Irene (Bulkowski) Besaha of Vandergrift, PA.
Sandy was a devoted French teacher, Supervisor of the World Language Department and Assistant Principal in the Haverford Township School District until she retired after 35 years. She was an Adjunct Professor at Neumann Univer-sity in Aston, PA and West Chester University of Pennsyl-vania, where she taught French and supervised student teachers in the field.
Sandy graduated from Kiski Area High School in Leechburg, PA and received a Bachelor of Science in French and Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also had received an MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia. In April 2016, Sandy was proud to be inducted into the French Honor Society, Pi Delta Phi.
Sandy is survived by her sister Linda Maxwell of Devon, PA; sister Penny Alberico and her husband Dr.Thomas Alberico of Virginia Beach VA; niece Melanie Alberico Martin, her husband, Bradley and their children, Penelope, Knox and Camillo, nephews Andrew Alberico and Benjamin Alberico, dear friend Suzanne Corry, and countless cousins, friends and neighbors too numerous to mention. Sandy also left behind her beloved pets, Tess, Rafael and Jamie, who have been adopted into wonderful, loving homes.
Sandy was an active and faithful member of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church where a memorial service will be held on June 11th at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Francis-vale Home for Smaller Animals in Radnor, PA or a .
