Tom was such an admirable leader in so many ways. He had such a happy spirit always and was eager to teach others his knowledge. I will never forget the countless things I've learned from him or the many memories we've shared from past deployments at ACB-1. You never know how much you truly miss someone until they are gone much too soon. We all miss him so much! I can truly say God has one of the Navy's finest Sailors among his angels! God bless your soul Albright! Peace, strength, and prayers go out to the Albright Family as well!

I can not remember even one bad memory of Tom in my whole time onboard the CG 62 / US Chancellorsville. He was a great guy and will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers got out to his family and loved ones in this time of sadness.

To Tom's wife, mother and family, we wish to express our deep sadness in learning of your loss. We are a small office in Jacksonville Fl providing technical support the vessels operated by Tom and his fellow sailors. Tom was a fine young man and sailor. In a time where many say “It ain't my job” or “someone else will fix it”, Tom stood out as a person who gave a damn and tried to make a difference. The folks in this office truly appreciated the effort Tom put forth to make our ships better and safer and he will be missed.

Kate, every single day I think of you and your family and just cannot imagine having to go through what you guys are going through. So sad that such a young, beautiful, kind, caring young man has been taken from this world. I have shed many, many tears. Tom was one of the most, if not the most cooperative and accomodating First Class Petty Officer I have met here in Amphibious Construction Battalion. I remember him responding many times to calls for assistance.
Tom made things happen in the unit, all for the sake of improving the morale among the junior troops. He will be terribly missed. May the Good Lord and Savior Jesus Christ grant Tom eternal rest. Amen.
