Once again as the anniversary of Bill's passing comes around, you are in my prayers, Mary & family. When I think of the passing of my dad at the same time but different year as Bill, I think of the two of them finally meeting in heaven & laughing their contagious laughs. May you continue to feel God's comforting arms of strength around you. Miss your smile, Mary.

Mary and Family, Words really cannot express the sorrow I feel for your loss of such a lovely man as Bill. In his presence, I always felt uplifted. No matter what, he always had me laughing and his laughter was soooo contagious. He's gone to his final reward, but he will always be with us in our hearts and minds...and we will see him again. May you feel God's loving arms of comfort & strength wrapped around you all. You're in my prayers.

Besides love of family, Bill Gans deeply loved Valley Forge and the Regimental Band. He volunteered his time and his services for many years to the school, and the Band, and no task was too large or too menial for Bill to tackle. His passing is a great loss to his family, his many friends and to Valley Forge. Bill was one of a kind and there is no one on the horizon that comes close to his dedication and support of all things Valley Forge. He will be sorely missed by his family, the Academy and his legions of friends.

Mary and family, BILL was a close friend and I will miss him dearly. He fully supported me through my time at Pegasus and made my job so much easier. I could go on forever, but what he gave of himself, to better my daughter, myself and my entire family would need a thick book to describe. God Bless You William for looking over us while making us all better people! Mary we are always here for you! With all of our love, Leif Malmberg Family!

My roommate, guide, and mentor for four years, and good friend for over 50 years. You sat with us, Mary, as we remembered and joked and laughed during dinner at Kimberton Inn in 1999. You know what Bill meant to me - and to the Band and to VF. To me, and to many, many others, he will forever be "Mr.VFMA".

Mary Clare, Bill & Kara -

I feel like I just talked to him yesterday - we had such a good time at Vinny's ordination. So sorry for your loss - wish I could be with you again at this time but I know you will be surrounded by family and friends and all those whose lives were touched by Bill.

Love,
