JAMES SAMUEL, 80, of Sinks Grove, formerly from Williams-town NJ and Philadelphia PA, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg. Born October 31, 1933 in Magnolia NJ, he was a son of the late William and Sara Norton Schmitz.
James worked in the Procure-ment Department for the City of Philadelphia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Trusiack.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Templin Schmitz; daughters, Annette Haldeman of Phila. PA and her son, Christopher; Helena Blon of Phila. PA, her son Grant; her daughter, Melanie and her 3 grandchildren; stepdaughters, Adrienne Dougherty of Las Vegas NV and Pamela Dougherty of Waterford Works NJ and a stepson, Jim Dina and wife Debbie of Churchville PA, and their 3 daughters; a sister, Betty Manhardt of Phila. PA and her 3 sons; brother, William Schmitz of West Deptford NJ and his 2 sons and daughter; and Rosetta Trusiack's 2 sons and daughter.
A Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 2 to 4 P.M., at THE FUNERAL HOME OF INGLESBY & SONS, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken NJ 08109.
