To theSchiffrin Family:
My wife, Kathy(Cestare) and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. How lucky you all were to have had such an amazing dad. His tireless work with the LMT Scholarship Fund has left a wonderful legacy. He will be missed by both the Esibill and Cestare families.
Sincerely,

I was so sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Schiffrin. Back in the early 70's I was his secretary for a couple of years. He was a charming and distinguished man, and he had a great sense of humor. He was the perfect gentlemen for the Philadelphia Magazine Cover. My sincere condolences to the Schiffrin Family.

Al and his family welcomed us in to their home to celebrate the holidays with them. They will always be remembered as warm, generous and loving members of our family. The memories of the many celebrations they shared with us will always be with us.

A very special person, whom I often called as an adult when I needed sageful advice. Growing up with Peter, we spent a lot of time at the house in Gladwynne - and I always enjoyed my time with Beverly and Al. And who knew he was Philadelphia Magazine's "Sexiest Man in Philadelphia..." !!!! I will always cherish my fond memories of Al.

Dear Aunt Bev and all the family, Lindsay and I send you our love and prayers and share with you all the wonderful memories of all of you and our dear Uncle Al who shared so much of himself in so many ways with us and had a tremendous impact on our lives. We will keep all of you close in our hearts and prayers each and every day and hope to be in close touch very soon. Mom is doing well. I called our Rabbi and he is going to stop by to chat with her within the next day or so. With all our love, Liz and Lindsay
