PEARL AXELROD Obituary
PEARL ( nee Benkin), April 18, 2011, age 94, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Margate, NJ and Norristown, PA. Wife of her beloved late husband, William H. Axelrod; mother of Ellen Ufberg, and Judth (Charles) Horwitz; beloved grandmother of Julie Ufberg and William Horwitz. Pearl was active for many years at the Norristown Jewish Community Center, Tifereth Israel, teaching Sunday School, playing the organ and coaching Bar and Bat Mitzvah. Relatives and friends are invited to express condolences Wed., April 20th and Thursday, April 21st from 2 P.M. and 7 P.M. at the home of Ellen Ufberg and Judah Labovitz, 7301 Coventry Ave., Apt. 609, Melrose Park, PA 19027. Contributions may be made to The Abramson Center for Jewish Life.
