Reimar was a special guy with whom my family and I spent tons of time together. Finletter elementary school, Olney High school, skiing at Jack Frost, water skiing on the Delaware, enjoying the beach in Ocean City. etc, etc, etc. Think of him often...remember him always.

Dear Deb,
Wow! It is so hard to believe that 10 years have passed since Reimar was with us.
I recently shared a story about Reimar to a relative. It was the day that he tapped me on the shoulder as I was going to the train station after work, and he asked me to fill a sailing spot for someone who had backed out of the trip. I said "yes" and that was the weekend that I met my husband. If it weren't you for you and Reimar, I would have remained single. And, yes, it was a fabulous trip.
So glad that you now have a partner in Brian and I wish you every joy and happiness. Enjoy Reimar's memories and may they always be part of your heart. - Love to you on this day. Christine

Dear Debbie,
I am sorry to learn of Reimar's passing. In the 1990s we worked on a nuclear fuel development project and travelled to Russia together. He was always gracious. Please accept my condolences.

Working with Reimar for many years illustrated his unusual worth to our profession, and as a fine manager, earning the respect of the employees he worked with. He will always be remembered as a favorite for many of us.
Debbie, and family, sorry for your loss.

Dear Debbie – I was saddened to hear about Reimar’s passing via an E-mail from Joe Myshko. Although Reimar and I never actually worked together, there were many times that our paths crossed. I first met Reimar many years ago when we were both living in Southampton, PA. I also still remember a last working day before the Christmas holiday many years ago having drinks at the Colonade bar on the ground floor of the UE&C Building with Ben Red, Reimar, me and several other UE&C managers. One of the few times we were able to let loose outside of work. My sympathies go out to you and your families. Hopefully our paths will cross in Ocean City and / or the UE&C/RE&C reunion luncheon.

Dear Deb - A light has gone out in the world. Reimar was the best man at my wedding in 1958. We have been best friends for a lifetime. He will always remain in my treasured memories. Extremely sorry I can not get up from North Carolina to say goodbye. You're in our prayers.

Dear Debbie, Dora, Chris and Jennifer:
I was so sorry to learn of Reimar's passing...but so glad that I was able to spend some time with him earlier this month in Ocean City. We sat and talked about nothing for about an hour as I watched him paint a wicker table. He was truly one of my best and closest friends. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Ferguson family are with all of you in your time of grief. We will always remember the wonderful times we had together at the mountain house at Lake Naomi and sailing with him in the Chesapeake. We went to grammer and high school together and Reimar served as an usher at our wedding. We love you Reimar and will miss you.

Dear Deb - Extremely saddened to hear of Reimar's passing. He was so loved by many, including me, and I think of the many times I would pass by his office at UE&C and pop in and share stories and laughter. He is one of the best among the best, and I know that you had a true loving bond with him throughout the years. Sending our love to you. - Christine and Richard Stokes

Dear Debbie and family,
George and I express our heartfelt condolences. Reimar was such a kind man, one with a twinkle in his eyes. I will never forget seeing him planting flowers and then resting in the chair by the front door.
He will be missed. Monika Krug and George Edel
