EDMOND DeLUCA Obituary
EDMOND G., JR. 74, of Egg Harbor Township NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at the Ocean View Center in Ocean View NJ.
Born in Philadelphia PA, he was formerly of Margate NJ and a resident of Egg Harbor Town-ship NJ for ten years.
Mr. DeLuca received his Bachelor's Degree from Ursinus College, his Master's Degree from Washington College in Maryland and had received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Army before his honorable discharge.
Mr. DeLuca worked as a Criminal Law Investigator for Al Black Detective Agency in Atlantic City NJ for 20 years.
Surviving are a brother, Michael D. DeLuca and his wife Anne of Honolulu HI; 3 nieces, Cheryl DeLuca, Carolyn DeLuca, Caroline DeLuca; 2 nephews, Charles DeLuca and Michael DeLuca. He was the brother of the late Charles DeLuca, Sr. His Funeral Service will be offered Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from THE GODFREY FUNERAL HOME OF PALERMO, 644 S. Shore Rd., Palermo NJ, where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of Service. Entombment will follow in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill NJ. The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to Ursinus College Political Science Department, Advancement Office, P.O. Box 1000, Collegeville PA 19426.
