LEONARD S., Sept. 13, 2011. Husband of Blanche (nee Bialer) of Wynnewood. Father of Joshua (Pamela) Rubin, Beth (Stephen) Tripp and the late Matthew Rubin. Grandfather of Aaron, Mark and Benjamin. Listed in Who's Who in America. Dr. Rubin was an Educator Researcher, Physiological Psychologist Biostatistician. He was born in New York City August 27, 1922, received B.S. in chemistry from CCNY and PhD in Neuroscience N.Y.U. 1943. He was chief of Psychophysiology Medical Labs for army chemical corps. 1953, and assoc. Professor at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Prof. at Temple University School of Medicine 1970-1975. He was employed by Biostatistics Cellcor Corp. in Boston 1988-1992, Physiology/Pharmacology at Phila. College of Osteopathic Medicine 1981. He was on the armed forces National Research Council Commission on Vision Washington D.C. 1956, recipient of social services research award Institute of Mathematics at Stanford University 1955, A.E. Bennet Award Society of Biological Psychiatry 1961, Scholar Foreign Exchange National Academy of Science Yugoslavia 1974. He was a member of Sigma Xi. Services and Interment are private.
