Beloved mother of Joe Brooks and his wife Shellie, Bernadette Allman and her husband Greg, John Brooks and Sommer, Ricky Matusky and Lynn, Jessica Matusky and Mike and the late Michael Devonshire; grand-mother of 12. Also survived by her twin-sister, Dolores Macatee triplet-sisters, Eileen McCullough (Pat), Rosemary Macatee and Sr. Betty Anne Macatee. Celebration of Life Service will at 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Salem United Methodist Church, 469 Salem Church Rd., Newark DE 19702.

So saddened to hear of Bernie's passing. Plenty of memories of our childhood together on Greenway Avenue and of working for the dentist bring back a different lifetime. Bernie got me my first job. Always helping. Goodbye my friend.
