Cecelia, Mrs. Walsh & family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I remember riding with him to your Avalon shore house many years ago. What a kind man. My prayers are with him and all of you.

To my dear friend Mary, and all of your family, I was so sad to hear of Mr.Walsh's passing. I have only met him a couple of times, but our interactions were always so pleasant and cheerful. God has made a special place for Him, in his Heavenly Kingdom, where he will continue to love and watch over all of you until you are together again. To Mrs.Walsh, I am praying that you find peace in your heart, knowing he is with God. I love you and I think of you often, I look forward to seeing you again soon ,so I can get one of your great hugs. Love & Prayers to all of you,
Sincerely,
DJ

Jim's death has left me with heartache. I was Jim's "48-man" in 1967-68 in the 6th District in Center City when he was a corporal. We became lifelong friends. I'll never forget him. He was a wonderful boss, teacher and good, good man. My condolences to his family.

Last night we went to St Joseph's Manor to visit your Dad. We were shocked and so sad to hear the news of his passing. He was a wonderful room mate for my Dad. He always had a smile and a funny story. Our hearts and prayers go out to each of you.
What a wonderful devoted family. Love, Sue and Jack Reed

Hadn't seen Mr. Walsh in over 30 years. Was fortunate to see him "working hard" at Isabelle's Bakery in Avalon this past summer. He was so proud! Without hesitation, he remembered my name and he didn't miss a beat. My condolences to you all.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Officer James J. Walsh Sr. for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Jim will be broadcast to our 3,423 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia's Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .
