JOSEPH McMULLEN Obituary
JOSEPH W. on December 9, 2013, age 55, of Bensalem. Joseph, co-founder of McMullen Roofing, Inc., a family owned business for over 30 years. He was the beloved husband of Patricia "Patti" A. (nee Simon), loving father of Colleen (Steve) Camuccio, Dianne (Kris) Pertschi, Shawn (Shannon) and Allison (Shawn) Ryder, dear grandfather of Lisa, Alexis, Emily and Stephen, brother of Nancy (Gary) Schaffer, Robert (Debbie) McMullen and Gertrude (Joe) Rizzo and his parents; Robert and Josephine (nee Hamada) McMullen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joseph's Life Celebration Thursday evening from 7 - 9 P.M. and Friday morning from 10 - 11:30 P.M. at JOHN F. GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila. followed by his Funeral Service 11:30 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cem., Bensalem. Charitable contributions in Joseph's name may be made to: Bridge to Healing, 3998 Red Lion Road, Phila., PA 19114. To share your fondest memories of Joseph please visit the web site below.

I just found out and was sadden to hear the news. I have known Joe & his brother Bob since 1st grade (49 years). I haven't seen either for years but a lot of memories have come back. My thoughts are with Joe's family. I wish people we grew up with would stay in touch better. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Dear Patti and the rest of the McMullen family. Having known Joe for 45 years (since grade school), I can only offer my deepest sympathy for your loss. I've been running memories through my mind for days now; all the silly things we did as kids. Going to miss one of my best friends. I will always remember Joe sitting on our back porch after a party with Tommy and Madison teaching them the names of different sea shells and truly enjoying it. I was so sorry to learn of Joe's passing. I have so many fond memories of times we shared growing up on the boat, at our big family gatherings and just playing in the yard while our parents enjoyed their time together.
