ELIZABETH CARY Obituary
ELIZABETH SUMMERS "Betty" age 92, November 12, 2015 of Germantown and N. Chatham MA; formerly of Haverford. Betty taught at Germantown Friends School from 1945 until 2011, after which she volunteered her services. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Grellet Cary. Mother of Ann Sampson (Hugh), Charles Reed Cary II (Deborah) and Dorothy W. Cary (Philip Kane). Grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4. Also survived by her sisters Dorothy Howell and Helen Gregg and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Sylvia and brothers Robert and Dudley. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Meeting for Worship on Sat. Dec 19th, 2 P.M. at Germantown Monthly Meeting, 47 W. Coulter St., Phila., PA 19144. Donations in Betty's memory may be given to Germantown Monthly Meeting.
