ADAM, April 11, 2016, of Dresher, PA; beloved husband of Cindy (nee Kanter); loving father of Sami, Amanda and Lily Warkow; cherished son of Shirley and the late George Warkow; devoted brother of Paul Warkow. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Thursday, 1 P.M., JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose. Inter-ment will be private. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to CeaseFirePA, P.O. Box 60095, Phila., PA 19102. (www.ceasefirepa.org)

Dear Cindy and kids, I just read in my alumni magazine, the Pennsylvania Gazette, that Adam passed away. I am so very, very sorry. Adam and his roommate, Jim Ramenda, lived down the hall from me for two years at Penn. We were good friends, although I lost track of Adam after we graduated. Since we were in different classes, we had different reunion years. One of my favorite memories of Adam is from Sunday mornings: My roommates and I subscribed to a newspaper and the Sunday editions were huge. Adam and Jim would come to our apartment and spend a couple of hours reading and commenting on every article in every section of the paper. A lot of the comments were hilarious. Many fond memories.

Cindy, Oh my god. Howie Cohen called me and told me the terrible, sad news. Adam & I have not spoken in a while but you know how close we were[ with Robbie] for many, many, years 1968-1978.
