Missing you Danny!

Denise Valletto Haywood

Well Dad, it's hard to believe that this is the 10th Father's Day without you on earth. But I know you are in a better place and at peace. I miss you so much and love you even more. And by the way, I attended the Dan Valletto open in Philly today and you are a legend in the dart world. Happy Father's Day to the best dad a daughter could have ❤

To Denise,
I was so sorry to hear about the death of you father. I was reading Re-echoings from St Huberts today 1/21/2009 so I just found out. I remember how loving your parents were toward me. They opened up their house to me on Devereaux St. I was always there. We hung out many a friday nights. Denise I would love to hear from you. St Barts just had a 30th reunion that I really enjoyed. We are going to have a 50th birthday for all of us I believe, March 21. I can forward the information to you. Again your Dad was a very special guy. I will keep you in my prayers

Dad,

Well, this is the 1st Thanskgiving without you. Last year I spent Thanksgiving morning with you, even though it was in the hospital. Our family will miss your presence at the table, especially how you vocalized when you liked a particular food, or how you commented that we always had too many vegtables :)

Today I give thanks to have had a father like you. A kind & generous man who always put others first, and lived for his family. Yes you were very opinionated, but that just showed conviction. Thank you for teaching me what is most important in life and for demonstrating what it really means to love someone, to lay your life down for them, as you did for Mom. I miss you and love you Dad. Love, Your 1st born daughter, Denise

Dad,

Has it been 1 year already? I miss you everyday and 'feel' you in my heart : ) You were the most generous man I ever knew and I am proud to carry on that trait in me. I will always try to help the less-fortunate and never forget where I came from, like you always taught me. I am homesick for you and Mom, but know that someday you will both wrap your arms around me again. Until that divine appointment, I love you. Your 1st born. Denise

Dixie, Dee and the entire Valletto family, as one of Danny's dart family I want you to know my heart and prayers go out to you. It was an honor and privilege to know Danny and a thrill to have played darts with him and to watch him compete - he is a true legend in Philly Darts but most of all, he was a great person and friend.

To the Valletto Family:

May you find consolation in the words of 2Cor. 1:3,4 “Blessed be…the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation.”

May love and peace be with you, Dee and Dixie, and all the family that Danny leaves behind. I'll always remember the gentle man who threw the 118 to win the match for first place and beat me and my partner. Rest in peace, Danny. My prayers for his family.

My love and prayers are with the Valletto family as they cope with Danny's loss. He was one of the first Philly darters my late husband, Tom, and I met, over 35 years ago. Among the hundreds of players who supported our darts events over the years -- both nationally and internationally -- Danny was one of the "special" ones. He was a gentleman, in every sense of the word, and a real credit to the Sport of Darts. I will always treasure the many memories of my long and lasting friendship with Danny. May he Rest in Peace.

To YOU, Uncle Dan,

I am forever grateful for all that you and Aunt Lynda have done for me and the Diebel Family over the many years we have been friends. You were a second father to me, and you were loved and appreciated by me more than anyone could ever know. You have been so good to me...granting me opportunity, assistance, guidance, and very, very much more. I will miss you eternally, and hope one day to be as admired and cherished for having as a big a heart as you did.

To Aunt Lynda, Denise, Donna, and Deborah...
I love you, and words can not begin to describe how I empathize with you on your loss. He will be missed, but never forgotten. He will ALWAYS be loved.

Sincerely,

Nancy Torres
