MARION J. MACKEY, 77, OF BOYERTOWN Marion J. (Latshaw) Mackey, age 77, of Boyertown, formerly of Sassamansville, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. Born in Sassamansville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Latshaw and Edna (Jones) Latshaw. Mrs. Mackey was a 1955 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a typist/clerk for various departments for the State of Pennsylvania. She enjoyed travel, art (oil painting), piano and listening to classical music. She was a member of Congregation Mercy & Truth Synagogue, Pottstown. She is survived by, son Richard A. Mackey, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Boyertown; daughter Teresa Mackey, wife of Steven Barnes of Bethlehem; two sisters Grace, wife of Russell Moser of Frederick; Mae, wife of the late Jacob Mertz of Reading; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was formerly married to Richard A. Mackey, Sr. of Boyertown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lindy Louise Barnes. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA. Rabbi Dr. Daniel Zucker will officiate. Family and Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Congregation Mercy & Truth Cemetery, Pottstown. Maxfield, Ruthann* - Phoenixville  
Ruthann (Powell) Maxfield, age 96, of Phoenixville, Pa, died Friday morning, Dec. 26, 2014 in the Parkhouse Nursing Home, Upper Providence, Pa. Born in East Vincent Township, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Moyer) Powell. She was a 1936 graduate of the Spring City High School. She attended the Pottstown Business School. Mrs. Maxfield worked as an administrative assistant for the Mohawk Carpet Company and General Electric. She was a long term member of the East Vincent United Church of Christ. Mrs. Maxfield also volunteered for the Phoenixville Historical Society and attended the Phoenixville Senior Center. Mrs. Maxfield is survived by one sister-in-law: Adele Powell, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Wilford, and James Powell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, Pa on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Kate Davidheiser. Burial will be in the East Vincent UCC Cemetery, Spring City, Pa. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center, 105 Seminary Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Morrow, George - Macungie  
George L. Morrow, 90, of Macungie, died Monday, December 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of June P. (Follweiler) Morrow, whom he married December 29, 1945. Born in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Harry and Jean (Krause) Morrow. Mr. Morrow was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. He was a 1941 graduate of DeWitt-Clinton High School, Bronx, NY, and a 1943 graduate of The Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, receiving a degree in electrical engineering. Mr. Morrow worked as an electrical engineer at several major electronic companies throughout his career. He was a Freemason. After his retirement, George enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. He also was a hobbyist who had the love for electric trains, coins, stamps, and painting. George was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who was very private, but a family oriented person. Survivors: Wife, June, of almost 69 years; daughter, Jan (Morrow), wife of Edward Jackson, Salisbury, Mass; granddaughter, Jennifer (Lee), wife of David DeSisto, Barrington, RI; great grandchildren, Christopher and Ariana DeSisto; brother and sister-in-laws, Robert and Jeanette Follweiler; sister-in-law, Nancy, widow of Bruce Follweiler, both of Bethlehem; two nieces and two nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by a brother, Vic Morrow. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, 47 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, with Reverend John W. Davies officiating. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the church. Inurnment will be private. Moyer, Larry R.* - Boyertown  
LARRY R. MOYER, 60, OF BOYERTOWN Larry R. Moyer, 60, of Boyertown, husband of Gloria M. Rick, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Season's Hospice in Phoenixville hospital. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Melvin C. Moyer and Erma M. (Cunnius) Moyer. Larry graduated Boyertown High School. He worked for Colebrooke Enterprises as a sewing machine mechanic. Prior to that, he worked at the Boyertown Casket Company as a mechanic and later for Crown Knitting in Reading. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Christopher S. Moyer of Boyertown; two step-sons, Donald E. Hill of Oklahoma and Kenneth B. Hill of Lancaster; one sister, Diane M. Connelly of Conway, SC; two brothers, Kenneth C. Moyer of Gilbertsville and Alan L. Moyer of Reading and five step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother Russel M. Moyer. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
