LORNA E. WILSON, 92, OF PHOENIXVILLE Lorna E. (Byrnes) Wilson, 92, wife of the late Charles Woodrow Wilson, of Phoenixville died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born in Waukon, IA, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Link) Byrnes. She was a member of St. Basil The Great Catholic Church, Kimberton. Lorna was a volunteer for the Phoenixville Hospital Senior Circle and the Phoenixville Library. Surviving are her sons, C. Woodrow Wilson of Delmar, CA; John G. Wilson and his wife Tricia of Havertown, and a daughter, Donna Shammas, husband of Mark Shammas of Exeter, RI; five grandchildren, David Jakubowski, Laura Jakubowski, Charles Wilson, William Wilson and Gregory Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Brandt and Loretta Tressel, and a brother, James Byrnes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass in St. Basil The Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, on Saturday, July 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville. A viewing will be held in the church on Saturday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
