CAROL A. FREESE, 78, OF POTTSTOWN Carol A. (Walker) Freese, 78, of N. Hanover St., Pottstown, widow of Robert F. Freese, died Sunday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Ctr. Born in Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Clifton Walker and the late Caroline Gertrude (Rowe) Walker. Mrs. Freese was a graduate of Reading High School. She was employed by Western Electric, Reading. For many years she was a devoted wife and loving mother, dedicating her life to her family. In addition, she took care of many other children, caring for them with the same loving manner as her own. Mrs. Freese was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ, Pottstown. Surviving are two sons, Theodore R. Freese and his wife Lori L. Freese, Pottstown; Eric Yetto, Temple; two daughters, Andrea L. wife of Jeffrey S. Kulp, Pottstown, and Suanne S. wife of Richard Brennan Jr., Sassamansville; one brother, Michael Walker and his wife Rosey, Reading; two sisters, Susan wife of Jay Schaeffer, Green Hills, and Kathy wife of Michael Farrell, Reading; six grandchildren, Tristin and Sarah Brennan; Julia and Allison Kulp and Lili Freese, and Brent Yetto; one great-grandchild Brody Yetto. She was predeceased by one brother James Walker. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Saint John's United Church of Christ, 11 S. Price St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Karen Nuscher Creasy. There will be a viewing from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Saint John's United Church of Christ. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, PA. Our web site exists to serve the friends and family of the deceased.
