Richard J. Heyer, age 55, of Arlington Street Tamaqua, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 31, 2014, at home in Tamaqua.|
Survived by his wife; Tracy A. (Boger) Heyer; Two Daughters: Tara L. Heyer of Tamaqua, Nicole L. Heyer, Denton , TX; One Son, Bryan R. Heyer of Tamaqua; Two Sisters, Harriet Weimert wife of Kenny of Orefield, Lois Gift of Adamstown; Two Brothers, Henry Heyer , Fleetwood; Clarence Heyer and his wife Linda, Kutztown.
Born in Allentown on July 13, 1959, he was the son of the late Lester and Annabel (Lohrman) Heyer.
Richard was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh School District. He worked for Universal Trailer of McAdoo in quality control for thirteen years.
Rich was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and farming.
Arrangements are entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5. A gathering of friends will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service, at the funeral home.
